Henry Riverbank Hotel

The hotel itself was really nice, there were extra blankets, towels, plenty of coffee, and other amenities I didnt expect! The staff was very kind and accommodating and they even had a large variety of breakfast foods and other snacks. It is pet friendly and our dog was very comfortable and had plenty of space. We would definitely stay again.

Found this gem while on a road trip by happenstance. What a perfect stay. The hotel is right on the Illinois River with picturesque views. The room was very clean and comfortable. Met the owner at her other business in town, Ace Hardware. She was very kind and helpful. Jayden checked us in quickly and was very helpful when the vending machine decided not to drop my honeybun. . Would highly recommend!

What a gem! We searched online for hotels with a view of the Illinois River and found this great place. I called for reservations and asked for a room with the best view of the river. I was quite happy when we arrived. Quite scenic, in a quaint, little town. Right on the river with a fantastic view from our room and balcony, which had a small table and chairs. We enjoyed some relaxing time there, both day and night! The photo with the tug boat was taken from the room balcony. The room featured a comfortable king bed with a couch, a stocked kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cook top, and breakfast bar. It was very clean and seems to have been remodeled recently. Wall mounted TV with free cable provided. Free, Continental Breakfast was provided in the lobby starting at 6am with a good choice of cold foods, milk, water, and juices. Vending and ice machines are also available. Very reasonable rate. I would stay again.

What a gem of a hotel right on the scenic river in the small town of Henry, IL. I enjoyed the staff and hospitality during my stay. Loved the different themes of the rooms. Very clean and well maintained! Looking forward to coming back!!

Staff and service excellent. Room was comfortable and clean. View was nice. Little noisy late nite due to cars/trucks by the river.

It's really great to have this hotel here. My family lives in the area and I visit my elderly father from out of state and it's so convenient and pleasant at this hotel. The little touches make such a difference. The offered snacks and homemade pastries in the lobby, along with the beautiful hanging flower baskets out front are so appreciated. I'm glad to hear they are replacing the doors on the rooms. I felt very safe, but better doors and locks are a must.

Recently stayed here for a night with my medium sized dog and they were very dog friendly. The hotel had a scenic view of the river and was clearly recently updated with a nice modern style. It was quiet, comfy, and even offered complimentary beverages, snacks, and light breakfast items. Will likely be coming back to stay when in the area!
